I don't knoowwww though. I have to see what the price quote will be on these from my SIL and maybe scale back on some grand plans. I wish there was a character out there with dark red hair and glasses ;o;

I just prereg'd for MTAC last night, and today I reserved a room. Waifu is confirmed for Brawl.. i mean MTAC.

At the very least, I'll be there. I'm hoping to get at least one decent cosplay done because if I start preparing NOW then I should have SOMETHING by then.

Although I have no viable ideas for cosplay at the moment... I'm still brainstorming. Thinking maybe a girl!Pyro with the flamethrower gun, maybe FFXI Dragoon if I feel like being batshit insane. Mikuru bunny girl would also be fun depending on my hair length at the time. It would also be a kindof quick cosplay. Chell is always a possiblity too, but the portal gun would yet again prove difficult to make.

My dream cosplay is a Bubblegum crisis tokyo 2040 hardsuit but I do not have the funds for it to be awesome (and not made of foam).

Anyway I'm really super looking forward to it, and hopefully will find some new con buddies since my previous years' con buddy has left me for a great opportunity (internship) up north. Hopefully I'll also run into old friends too.

In other news, I hit up the Frist today and saw some awesome stuff. Art galleries are very intriguing. I caught the tail end of the Chuck Close exhibit. Still have to write my paper and finish up homework stuff. The one advantage of college is being able to take 1 day to do most of your homework and have the rest of the time to recoup.

I think I'll start using this journal more since my art will be slower in coming. Will probably crosspost to my LJ.

Weekend is finally here, and I, for one, am really happy about that. I've nearly completed my 2D design. I'll be fixin' that up tonight. I've got to somehow fit in a visit to the FRIST by thursday.

I wish I could somehow work in a day of fun. It's been awhile since I've gotten to go on one of my Adventures, and I'm already itching to do something nice while the weather is (mostly) pretty and lovely and yay. Maybe a photoshoot somewhere would be fun? Maybe a photoshoot downtown?

I'm fighting off the funk that everyone seems to be passing around. I haven't gotten actually *sick* but my throat feels scratchy. Feels better with hot liquids though so it might be just general soreness.

Anyway I'm going to try to sleep as much as I can this weekend because next week will be another full time week. Hopefully I will be getting many things in the mail next week as well.

Oh!oh! The movie, 9, came out 2 days ago. I really want to see it. DH doesn't want to go though. Who's up for a movie?

I've almost finished the Dresden files book 5. Susan has become an AWESOME character. I really like Shiro (?) too. I really need to do some fanart for the Dresden files. It's too awesome a series not to do so. I may also upload some more school stuff since i brought home my drawing 1 things.
